𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 —of the boogie-man and other Supernatural beings used to be told to keep children inline, as entertainment for adults looking for a good scare. Even romanticized as conflicting love stories between Humans and Supernaturals. But these were just stories, right?𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒊𝒕 —Perhaps children were not the only ones needed to be kept inline. Humans as a whole, never anticipated what would happen with the Black Dawn rose. The Night World, a secret society of Supernatural beings was to be a secret no more. Since the Universe has created life, various creatures have come into existence. Creatures later categorised as mythical soared through the skies, breathing fire or ice. Tiny winged beings living in their own kingdoms, surrounded by nature and taking care of it. Beings with tails that swim through bodies of water, able to breathe under it. Even other worldly beings starting out on their own planet, growing and developing. It wasn’t until the creation of Humans that the Universe needed to create other races to balance them out.The Humans grew so quickly in population and the balance was altered. Soon came the humanoid creatures to try and bring balance to the Universe. Mages, beings that looked like Humans, but possessed magical powers– powers that when crossed took down an entire race of Dragons and altered their line forever.With the ever populating race of Humans, Vampires, Werewolves, and Deadly Sins started to come into the great picture of the Universe. Feeding on human’s blood as well as their energy, their population starting to even out with the intentional and accidental deaths caused by these new beings. Each race was strong and powerful, but the Humans were resilient. They found the weaknesses of even the strongest races and casted them into hiding.Cruel, the Humans were unnecessarily cruel and wanted complete control and domination. Killing anything and everyone in their path as they continued to be the ones out in the open and proud of who they are. The approach to level out the Humans with death did not seem to work and so the Universe created beings to help try and divert the Human’s cruel nature into those of caring beings. Winged humanoids did their best to lead the Humans into a life filled with love and kindness, it worked for most– but some Humans were too corrupt and even the strongest of the winged men and women would fall into the negativity of Humans, their white ethereal wings melting and turning black to show how tainted they had become.

Individually these races were not able to level out the humans and bring balance, until one day they decided to stand united against their oppressors. Unlikely comrades rising together to take their place among the Humans, the beings who had been suppressing them for years. As the sun rose, so did the moon, eclipsing the world in black. The morning was known as the Black Dawn, the day that the boogeyman and other stories of Supernatural beings ceased to be fairytales and became a reality.The leaders of the revolution formed what is known now to be “The Night World.” A secret society 🌌 that formed the rules in which everyone lives by today. For the millennia of oppression they faced, the human race would now feel that same oppression. Very few Humans would be able to scrape to the top, and keep their head above water, but the race as a whole would suffer just like the other races have. To even out the playing field life was now separated into two groups, no longer based on race, but status. Masters and slaves. Any Supernatural race could be a Master or Slave, but very few Humans would get to call themselves Masters.The secret society of Supernaturals aims to bring true balance. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do, with enough work you can become a Master and sit among the privileged, and if you’re not paying attention all your riches can be stolen, leaving you with nothing and no title to your name. The Slave Auction doesn’t discriminate, it will take anyone and put them for sale. How you walk though life is up to you and your choices, will you rise from the ashes like a phoenix and claim what you deserve? Or will you be left in the ashes without a spark?

It started with the Witch Trials, Humans trying to find the supernaturals among them. More often than not, they would accuse their fellow Humans of witchcraft, setting them up for trials, but there were Humans who specialised in finding Witches. They would not give them the mercy of a trail, but would take things into their own hand, eliminating what they posed as a threat. These Witch Hunters evolved over the years to Supernatural Hunters, Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches were slaughtered the most among the supernatural races. The Faefolks were then targeted next, Gumihos, Faeries, and Nereids. The decrease in numbers had almost sent a few of them into endangerment, close to extinction by the early 1800s. Something needed to be done, families of well renowned 🔥Supernaturals within the “Night World” joined forces with each other, enemies became allies to fight the treacherous forces of the Humans. With this new century, the Supernaturals would fight back.Thus the Secret Society was formed.Each subspecies was represented by a family head, these representatives were those who were calm and without bias. They wanted balance to the world they lived in. For too long the balance was tipped in favor towards the Humans, now they plan to tip the scale in their own favor. They would plan their own uprising, putting Humans in their place. If all the races bound together, then there was no way the Human could win and overpower them all.

But, balance was the talk and if there were Humans who could afford to protect themselves, Humans who proved to be malleable, easily formed into what the Secret Society wanted, they should be spared in the uprising and given a chance to flourish in their new world order.They waited for the next solar eclipse to enact their uprising. The cover of night during daybreak is what they needed for their surprise attack. Those who helped them were heavily rewarded and held in high regards to the Secret Society. Those who did not help and waited out the war between the Humans and Supernaturals did not go unnoticed. With the Humans defeated and separated into what would be known as slaves and Masters in the society hierarchy the Secret Society planned, the cowardly Supernaturals were also separated into these categories. Those who fought with them were given the title of Masters and those who cowered, slaves.This was the new world order the Secret Society promised to uphold. It didn’t matter if you were Human or Supernatural, the world would find balance in their new social hierarchy. The members of the society faded into the back, only coming out when needed to to remind those of their vision of balance. Most members were among the ever living, but for those with limited lifespans, the next head of family would become the subspecies representation in this society. Over many millennia the Secret Society became a mix of slaves and Masters, balance was brought to their own members, helping limit the bias.Now, the Secret Society rarely intervenes with life, though they do hold events so that life never forgets that they are watching over both Humans and Supernaturals, slaves and Masters. Meetings are made once a year on the anniversary of their forming, April 24th. These meetings are to make sure that everything is still in balance, emergency meetings can be called by any member if they have information of something that might threaten the balance they uphold. But that hasn’t happened since the Black Dawn…

Open weekdays, Monday - Friday, the Midnight Market is where you can purchase whatever your heart desires.Any Master or Slave can make purchases from our Market. The items available for purchase are laced with magic and can aid you in whatever way you desire; whether it be for your relationship, your appearances, to even changing who you are.Make sure your wallets come full of money as there is a 500bm tax added to each item you so wish to purchase. That is, unless it's a Wednesday where the merchants feel more than generous as they waive the fees midweek.

Bewitched Looking Glass

Glance into the looking glass and you might that what stares back at you is not a familiar face.For those looking to temporarily alter your appearance, the Bewitched Looking Glass can be loaned to you as a means to help assist in your endeavours. This looking glass can be used up to five times, for a small fee.If you wish to return who whom you once were before the fifth use, the mirror can be returned to the market and you are free to purchase a new one after four weeks.Though beware, the looking glass will break if you use it too much. If you do break the looking glass, it curses you to be trapped in this new body for 60 days.For damaging the loaned market item a fee of 1,000bm will be deducted from your bank account.

Cinderella isn't the only one who managed to snag some enchanted footwear.The Midnight Market offers 'slippers' of a wide variety for every style and size. Purchase these and they shall let you walk a mile, or a week, in someone else's race and/or subspecies.If you wish to extend your enchantment, you may do so up to three times for an additional 100bm.Once the enchantment fades, the slippers will be nothing more than a nice pair of footwear. The change is not permanent, but if you wish to return the shoes to the market, they will give you a discount on a rejuvenation potion. What if you could move your soul into another's body?For those looking to test out a new muse, the Soul Capsule is for you. The Soul Capsule lasts for 30 days.The Soul Capsule lets you change everything about your muse: faceclaim, name, race, subspecies, status, occupation, bio, and hashtag. So that you are temporarily an entirely different muse.Because this is a temporary character, your faceclaim is not guaranteed after your trial ends if you do not make it permanent. If you wish to make them a new muse, keeping your old, you'll need to wait until you've reached the requirements for a new muse.The change is not permanent, but if you wish to keep the Capsule instead of returning it, the market will charge you an additional fee of 3,000bm to make what was temporary, permanent, giving up your old self.

Draconian's Blood

Feeling in the mood?Conceiving a child can be difficult for anyone. To conceive a child with your partner, regardless of sex, this potion is the only sure way to become pregnant in Night World.Once taken, they consumer will be able to conceive a child that day. Pregnancies last one month, and the child must be one of the parent's race and subspecies. We do not allow hybrids. The admin must be notified of your intentions once they are decided.This potions' limited nature means that it can only be purchased once every three months.This item must still be purchased for 'accidental pregnancy' plots as well. Do remember that each member is limited to three children. If you wish to have twins, the price doubles to 30,000bm.

Rejuvenation Potion

Cost: 2,000bm

Forever change what once was as little or as much as you please.Take this potion if you wish to start over new, or to make a permanent change to one or more of these aspects of your muse: faceclaim, race, subspecies, biography.This potion may be purchased once every thirty days, but if consumed too often the potion will not take effect.Drinking the potion too often will build up a tolerance to the magic and the market will refuse to sell it to individuals whom it will not effect.

Broken hearts cost money.To end one's engagement is a hard and painful decision, but sometimes necessary. Rules for Stealing Slaves

— Slaves can be stolen from their Master after a period of two (2) weeks from their initial purchase.— Once a bid to steal has been made, other Masters may choose to engage in a bid-war.— Simply being in a relationship with a slave does not protect them from being stolen. If you wish to keep a slave or a slave wishes to be hidden from the market, you can purchase items from the Midnight Market.

The Slave auction

Rules of the Slave Auction

— The Slave Auction is open for 24 hours, once a week on Sunday. During the hours 00:00 - 12:00 KST, you may place a bid, or buyout a slave during the auction. Once Noon has passed, only bid-wars or buyouts are allowed.— If you choose to bid on a slave, you have a chance to get them at an incredibly reduced price—but you also run the risk of losing the slave you want to another. If you have enough funds, the bid will be accepted, any other Master has the right to place a bid higher than yours. You can choose to engage in a bid war for the chosen slave, or let them go and cut your losses. Any number of Masters can participate in a bid war, but must increase the bid price between 500-5,000 at most.— Masters can only own three (3) slaves.— Masters can either buyout one slave, or choose to bid on two slaves and see if they get lucky.— Every race has a price, because every race can be a slave. This does not mean you can purchase a Master. The person you intend to purchase MUST be of slave status for the transaction to be accepted.
